REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FORMATTING OF ARTICLES

in the scientific journal

"Problems of Political Psychology"

General technical requirements
Language of the manuscript: collection "Scientific Studies in Social and Political Psychology" - Ukrainian, English, Polish; collection "Problems of Political Psychology"

Ukrainian, Russian, English, Italian, Polish.

The volume of the main text of the article is from 0.4 pages (16,000 characters with spaces) to 1 page (40,000 characters with spaces). The optimal length of the article is 0.5 pages.
The text should be typed in a text editor MS
Page parameters: A4 format, all margins - 2.5 cm, without headers and page numbering.
The font of the main text is Times New Roman, regular, lines without hyphens.
Paragraph parameters:
alignment - by width;
line spacing - 1;
first line indentation - 1 cm;
paragraph spacing - 0 mm.

Full name of the author (in full, 10 pt, bold, left alignment).

Important! Surnames and names of the authors are indicated as they appear in the identity documents (for example, Anna or Hanna)!

Academic degree, academic title, position (10 pt, normal font, left alignment).
Place of work: name of the institution, locality, country (10 pt, regular font, left alignment).

Important! Please indicate the official name of the institution as it appears on its website and in its constituent documents!

ORCID ID (10 pt, capital letters, left alignment); if not available, register at https://orcid.org/register.
E-mail (10 pt, italics, left alignment).
Title of the article (12 pt, bold, capital letters, paragraph without indentation of the first line, centered).
Abstract in the language of the article's text with a volume of at least 1800 characters (10 pt, normal font, width alignment, indents on the right and left - 1 cm). It should contain the following elements:
introduction: relevance of the research;
the purpose of the research;
methodology and scientific approaches;
main results;
conclusions: practical significance of the results and prospects for further research; social/political implications; originality/value.
The phrase "Key words:" (10 pt, bold). Further on the same line - in the language of the article, from 3 to 8 key concepts of the study, separated by ";" (10 pt, normal font, width alignment, indents to the right and left - 1 cm).
The title of the article, full name and data about the authors, summary, keywords in English (the elements are formatted in the same way as in the language of the article). If the language of the article is not Ukrainian, the title of the article, full name and data about the authors, summary, keywords should be submitted in Ukrainian.

Please note: Whatever language the article is written in, the block with data about the authors, CVs, and keywords should be submitted in Ukrainian and English. For foreign authors, the Ukrainian-language data is formed by the editorial board of the journal.

Important! Surnames and names of the authors are given and transliterated into Latin from the language in which they are presented in the identity documents.

The main text of the article (normal font, 12 pt) should consist of the following sections (bold, 12 pt):
Statement of the problem in general and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks (mandatory section).
Analysis of the latest research and publications that initiated the solution of this problem and on which the author relies; identification of unresolved parts of the general problem (mandatory section).
a reference to each source in the text of the article is required in the list of references;
references to sources, in accordance with the APA style, are given in parentheses, indicating the name of the author(s), year of publication, and, if necessary, page(s). For example: (Titarenko, 2019, pp. 35-38);
when citing several sources at the same time, you can list them in the same parentheses separated by semicolons. For example: (Vasyutynskyi, 2019, p. 120; Diener, 2015);
if there are 6 or more authors of an article, "et al." or "et al." is indicated after the first name. For example: (Slyusarevsky et al., 2018; Jones et al., 2016). See the "Additional" section of these Requirements.
Purpose of the article (mandatory section).
Presentation of the main material of the study with its theoretical foundations, description of methods and techniques and full justification of the scientific results obtained (mandatory section).
Limitations of the study (optional section).
Practical/social significance of the study (optional section).
Personal contribution of the authors (if there are several authors of the publication; preferred section).
Conclusions and prospects for further research (required section).
Acknowledgments (optional section). For example, to the grantor, if the research was performed with financial support.

Data may be provided on the research work within which the study was performed (title of the topic and state registration number). Data on the article's compliance with ethical standards and the presence of a conflict of interest may also be provided.

List of references (in the original language, except for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic; in this case, the name of the source is given in English with the original language in parentheses):
subheading "List of References" (12 pt, bold, paragraph, indented first line, centered) is formatted in accordance with the APA style;
sources in the list of references are organized without numbering in alphabetical order;
sources published within the last 5 years are required;
it is not allowed to cite sources that are not referenced in the text.
The list of references translated and transliterated into Latin:
Subheading "References" (12 pt, bold, paragraph, indented first line, centered);
the list itself (10 pt font), formatted in accordance with APA style:
list without numbering, in alphabetical order;
the names of authors and proper names of journals and publishers are transliterated into Latin;

For transliteration, it is recommended to use the online service https://translate.google.com (transliteration appears in the bottom line below the text entered in the translation window). In case of transliteration from Russian, do not use apostrophes symbolizing softening

titles of publications are transliterated and their translation is given in square brackets. For example: Kryza identychnosti osobystosti [Personality identity crisis];
certain names of conferences, organizations, publishing houses, and scientific institutions may be translated and abbreviated (if they are official translations and abbreviations);
after each reference, the original language of the source should be indicated in parentheses, for example, (in Ukrainian) or (in English);
foreign sources are cited without changes.
The line "The material was received by the editorial office on __.__.201_" (10 pt, italics, right alignment).

It is recommended that you use the automated service http://www.citethisforme.com/ to create a list of references.

References to your own publications are undesirable and are allowed only if absolutely necessary.

It is also undesirable to refer to textbooks and popular science literature.

If the literature review or further in the text refers to the name of a scientist, his or her publication should be in the general list of references after the article.

All statistical data must be supported by references to sources.

Secondary citation is not allowed.

The last page of the article file should contain a confirmation of the originality of the research, certified by the signature(s) of the author(s) (in scanned format), as follows:

"I am (we are) full name, author(s) of the scientific article "...", certify that it honestly presents an independently conducted research and does not contain plagiarism. The author(s) guarantees that they have obtained all necessary permissions to use copyrighted materials in the article. The author(s) guarantees that the article has not been published or submitted to any other publication. The author(s) grants the publisher the right to edit, adapt and modify, translate into any language, publish, and distribute the article in unlimited copies in any form and format on any media and by any means.
