The analysis of the psychological dimensions of wartime in Ukraine, presented in this volume, highlights key aspects of how society functions under unprecedented security challenges. The topics covered span a wide range of issues – from modern methodological approaches to analyzing and forecasting social transformations, to questions of fostering and maintaining national unity and the cultural identity of Ukrainian youth, which is particularly relevant in the context of state educational policy. Significant attention is given to the study of psychological mechanisms of adaptation under stress-inducing conditions. The volume explores strategies for preserving the psychological well-being of the educational community, the phenomenon of loneliness among internally displaced persons, and identity narratives as key resources of psychological resilience. A separate section is devoted to the challenges of digitalization in the development of society and education, with a focus on the limits of effectiveness of media-mediated psychological support and educational interaction, as well as the influence of information flows on the formation of patriotic consciousness and environmental responsibility. The issue also includes studies on the socio-psychological factors of collaborative behavior, which are particularly important for understanding destructive processes within society during wartime.
This publication is intended for researchers in political and social psychology, postgraduate students, university faculty, and students of higher education institutions.
